zaishen pvp
ok so there's lots of ways to do it and if you're in a pug it'll be different
ie earth ward ele for IWAY, water to do some great slows, air utility, etc
but I burn stuff pretty well, groups were being funny about eles there as they have been of late (at least people are waking up with HoH rolling around, why wait for SS to soak in when we double bomb/interrupt mobs so they dont act much and die, killing those that limp away?)
anyhoo for those that may be struggling, the zaishan challenge:
builds
fire 12 +1 +3
estore 12 + 1
[the bread and butter]
fire attune
aura rest
immolate
fireball
rodgorts
glyph of renewal
meteor shower
rez signet [for monk]
[keep away from conditions- ie smite monks, keep enchants here in order]
conjure flame [you're wanding more, reversal fortune too]
fire attune
aura restoration
fireball
inferno [nice dmg when close]
glyph of renewal
meteor shower
rez signet [for hench monk]
hench group - warrior ranger monk
hench group for trappers - ele ranger monk
might be some optimizations there for base blds but it all went pretty easily
*keep in mind one could take apart each enemy group and get sweet*
goal here was win the fight with hench and move on simplest bld
especially since you cant keep changing 2ndaries w/o a lot of clicks/warps
obsidian shards - bomb the &#!( out of them, and they'll drop you too
your monk though will keep rezzing, you repeat, you win
[earth eles, obviously obsidian flesh is one to consider]
IW - easy easy stuff, lay into them shouldnt need much here
Smite Monks - use alternate build mentioned above, why help them use mend
longer fight, watch initial burn, but gets manageable quick
[earth eles, throwing stones does a nice job on spammed reversals too]
Trappers - quite beatable but possibly the most annoying thing you'll fight
with players you can have melee but not hench (imo)
I actually added a degen necro to the fold (player) challenge, worked great
[I asked for any ranged player]
I did same one again in elite all ranged hench (no warr) and won too
Degen - degen necro player helped here too, its a bit of a closer one
after working with them above I suggested blood ritual which worked nicely
but wasnt a necessity. kill mesmr and nec first they go down FAST
they burn off rez sigs lose their big degen and then that team has a problem
[if you still feel the pain too much counter with e/mo or real player]
IWAY - you only need 5 to do challenge and I was talking henchy here
But if you want it go earth, ward of melee most obviously
real players would be smart too
Several of the above like to run/chase/get close to do any damage, water and/or earth slow away
Good old lighting - knockdowns/interrupts have some obvious use everywhere, especially with rez signet spam, some have others
messing with signets consider as well
oh well hope this was moderately useful/readable I need zzzs
just wanted to pass on what I flew thru the zaishan with
probably would have refined more but then the faction slows/stops
edit - hench group vs trappers was wrong - fixed

LOL,
I have an ele/ranger,
as above ,
but an easy trick,
remove rez sig,
replace with frozen soil
all over in 1 min.
